To use Afterpay you need to;

I just signed up to Afterpay, why do I need to pay upfront?
All new Afterpay customers are required to make their first payment at the time of purchase, which is only 25% off the total order cost. For any order after the first order, your first payment will be deducted two weeks after your purchase. The full payment schedule will be provided to you at the time of purchase.
Can I refund an order I placed with Afterpay?
Yes, you can. If you have returned an order in its entirety and the full amount of the order is refunded, any upcoming payments will be cancelled out and any paid payments will be refunded back to the card you paid on. If you are only partially refunding an order, read more information here
