ABOUT THE POSITION

The Rebellion is Growing, and we are looking for NURSES to join our team.

If you are a NURSE looking for a career change or are STUDENT NURSE looking for a great role we would like to hear from you. No piercing experience is necessary as all training to become a talented piercer and jewellery curator will be provided.

Our COVETEAR Nurse Piercers are responsible for the delivery of safe, quality piercing experiences to our valuable customers within our luxury piercing studios. They will also play an integral role in the development and application of company-wide studio styling services. The role provides pre-piercing consultations and post piercing after care and advice as well as delivery piercing procedures.

This role is critical to the COVETEAR brand, being the frontline touchpoint to our service.  As such, it is essential that our Nurse Piercers are well presented with exceptional communication skills.  The ability to engage with customers and understand their needs. Our Nurses ensure each and every customer understands their piercing procedure, what to expect during and after, how care for their new piercing and their chosen fine jewellery.

Nurse Piercers contribute to and support  the ongoing development of COVETEAR services and product offering in line with evolving customer expectations and needs by providing feedback from customers and their experiences. 

Nurse Piercers work as part of a team of specialists across our stores nationally to identify improvement opportunities for in-store efficiency, contribute process and procedure advice and improve customer experience.

We have positions open now in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Flexible hours are available.

As we look to expand nationally in the coming 12 months, other locations will become available. If you or someone you know is interested but lives outside Brisbane or the Gold Coast we would still like to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivering safe quality piercing experiencing
• Provision of pre-piercing consultations
• Provision of exceptional after care service and advice
• Ensuring infection control procedures are maintained and followed at all times
• Sterilisation of instruments and equipment
• Work as part of a team to support exceptional customer service and outcomes
• Develop,maintain and follow in-store processes and procedures
• Basic stock and inventory control
• Contribute to COVETEAR service and product development including sharing insights and learnings about customers
• Contribute to initiatives to improve systems, processes and scalability of practices
• Participate in COVETEAR Studio growth and expansion

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• Nursing qualifications  – RN or EN
• Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Customer service or patient centred orientated

We are searching for a talented piercer and jewellery curator for a Casual Position at our Gold Coast Flagship Studio.

This role offers a lifestyle career opportunity for those looking to grow with a consciously progressive, sustainability-focused, fashion-forward company from the ground up.

The position will initially start with 2 days.

Experience Piercer/Ear Curator - The Role

Our Covetear Piercers will not only be responsible for inspirational piercings and all aspects of studio management but they will also play an integral role in the development and application of company-wide studio styling services.

They must be passionate about ear style curation, expert piercing services and sustainably produced fine jewellery with a strong understanding of fair trade/recycled precious metals, lab-grown gemstones and initial piercing jewellery recommendations. They will have maintained infection control qualifications and follow the highest hygiene and safety standards.

 Responsibilities

• Expert needle piercer who is able to deliver a personalised, professional service to the Covetear customer, including style advice, well-informed aftercare and healing guidelines tailored to the client piercing type.
• Both sales and service-focused. 
• Maintain the studio schedule and online booking system.
• Manage each client's check-up and downsizing appointments.
• Contribute to collection design and communicate all piercing product and service feedback to the CEO, Design Team and Marketing Lead.
• Handle customer complaints and studio challenges in real-time utilising empathic listening skills for genuine understanding.
• Maintain Covetear brand integrity and values at all times.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of needle piercing experience - Preferred
• Experience working with internally threaded 2-piece piercing jewellery.
• Attention to detail, autonomous and adaptable - with a desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
