Fitting Guide 

As a general rule, 8mm posts are required for new piercings, and 5-6mm is the perfect size for healed piercings. Use the guide and table below to help choose which post is right for you. Unsure? Our team of experts are available to provide advice and ensure you find the perfect fit. *

 

*Please note that the below is a guide only and everyone's anatomy is different. If you are unsure as to which size to purchase we recommend; booking into one of our Covetear studios and have a post fitted to your ear, or booking an online virtual styling appointment where one of our specialty piercers will assist you in finding the perfect fit, or consulting your local piercer.

Our 18G, 14K solid gold, high-polished internally threaded flatback labret posts are suitable for Covetear Ear Piercing Jewellery only.

Our posts have a 3mm round flat back plate, engraved with a Covetear logo.

We recommend downsizing your piercing at the right time to encourage successful healing - refer to our Aftercare Guide and FAQ's for more information on sizing, and our step by step guide to changing your piercing jewellery at home.

Please note, we recommended a 5mm or 6mm post for most healed piercings, but every ear is different - so a virtual appointment is recommended if you are unsure. Please choose carefully as posts may not be exchanged or refunded unless faulty.

8mm posts are recommended for most New Piercings. Check with your local studio or piercer if an 8mm post is right for you.
